Welcome to the home of the South Bucks Mini Soccer Fair Play winners 2007-2008 and 2010 Under12s Fair play Tour Winners
Ballinger Football club was set up in the pre 2006/2007 season initially for Under 9s. Following the success of the club during its embryonic season, the club has expanded to include a number of teams for under 12's and under 14's.
All teams are members of the Berks & Bucks FA and play in The Booker Junior Football League.
Home is the playing fields around Ballinger near Great Missenden and Little Kingshill Playing Fields. The Red Kite on our badge shows our close ties with the Chiltern countryside. While the nickname “the Bombers” comes from a dinner party conversation where a guest informed us that Ballinger was the first place in the U.K to have an incendiary bomb dropped on it during the war – the pilot was aiming for Chequers and missed!. How true this is we don’t know, but the name stuck! Hopefully no one was hurt.
While we have support staff and nearly a full squad for the under 12's we are looking for players to represent us in the under 14's next season and any mad Mums or Dads that are willing to help out are always welcome. We strongly believe that football should be played by all kids, regardless of ability, and ultimately it should be fun.
If you wish to join Ballinger FC we are always looking for players regardless of your ability, come to training to see if you enjoy it. Either contact a committee member, details under Committee members, or regristar your interest here.
